Who We Are
My name is Lisa Lilavati and I've lived in Glastonbury (Avalon) for over 20 years.
Many years ago I was fortunate enough to meet a man called Septimus Smith, who was an eccentric elder of the community. It was he who the sat me down in front of a jewellery table and said "create!", so I did.
I'm so grateful to him, he taught me everything I know, from melting the metals and pulling the wire, to soldering and polishing.
I still use most of his equipment to this day because I had a strong desire to carry on these old traditions.

I also have to thank Emanuel, who passed on his master designs to me in order that his work continued when he retired, and many of his and Septimus’ pieces remain in my collection to this day. I’m so grateful for their wisdom and generosity, it’s out of this that Creations of Avalon has emerged.
